His unequivocal greatness and influence on nearly every genre of modern American music is far too obvious, extensive and important to sully with words of my own, so I’ll simply use his. R.I.P. to Maurice White – curator of joy and hope, leader of the greatest band ever and THE architect of the soundtrack of our lives.
